My Faith

It is my greatest desire to serve the Lord by demonstrating my faith through my actions.

I believe in the Sovereignty of our Lord and the saving grace of His Son, Jesus Christ. As I walk my path that our Lord has for me, my thoughts are formed, my actions regulated, my life molded by the Holy Scriptures, for, "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17).

That passage was my father's favorite bible verse. I would not be where I am today without the guidance and teachings of my father. Not only as my father, but also as my Pastor, he taught me so much about believing in and serving the Lord.

I strive to glorify God in all I do, and strive to keep Christ at the center of all my activities and I have faith and trust in the Lord to guide me in all I do.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 NKJV)



I specialize in helping you create your own heirloom quilt.

I started quilting in 2006 and found that I love working with people and helping them create their quilts. Anyone can go buy or have a quilt made for them. However as I see it, each quilt should have a special purpose.



Your quilt's special purpose.

The first thing I do when I start working with someone is to find out:
   - "Who will your quilt be for?"
   - "Why did you choose to create your quilt?"
   - "Why is your quilt important?"
   - "What is the story about that will become your quilt's special purpose?"

As you and I design and make your quilt, this story should reflect in your quilt's special purpose.

I've talked to people who believe that they cannot design or create a beautiful quilt. I'm here to help you and show you that you can. That's where my vision comes in to guide you. I would like to work with you, helping you to pick out the pattern for your quilt, pick out the colors of the fabrics, and to help you create your quilt so that you are an integral part in the creation of your quilt. My desire is that your quilt becomes a part of you, from inception to the finished quilt, you will be involved in its creation.
